Several Spanish travel websites have been adding charges to Ryanair flights which the airline says is against their conditions.Ryanair has announced that it is to start cancelling flights booked on its services via portal websites in Spain in ten days time.

Fires which have swept through the Canary Islands this week are said to be now under control. The fires in Tenerife and Gran Canaria have destroyed over 30,000 hectares of mostly pine forest on the islands’ volcanic peaks but have not affected beaches or holidaymakers.
After trying, but failing in the hosting of the 2012 Olympics, Madrid has been announced as the possible ghost for the 2016 Olympics.
